A year ago today we said our goodbyes to mum surrounded by family & wonderful friends, old & new.
Although such a sad day it was a celebration of her life. We remembered the wonderful times as well as the terribly sad times but always knowing that Mum was finally at peace & in no pain when she finally went to join Dad.
During this last year whenever I have felt so terribly sad & at a loss that she is not there to talk too, to visit & to phone, I make myself remember how awful her last two years were, particularly the last few months & so I can now finally smile & think of her happy, pain free & with Dad who she has waited so long to be with. This gives me comfort when I turn to the phone to ring her & I can't, when I want to get in the car to visit & she is no longer there.
Love you both Mum & Dad, you are always in our thoughts xxx

A HUG
Here’s a little hug for you, to make
you smile when you feel blue.
To make you happy if you’re sad
To let you know it ain’t so bad.
Now I’ve given a hug to you
Somehow I feel better too
Hugs are better when you share
So this is for you to show I care.

Thank you for setting up this memorial to Nigel and Joy.
We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
